The Heves Folk Art and Handicraft Cooperative, founded in 1951, undertook to process the woven and embroidered textile patterns of the Heves Palóc. The redesigned creations are in the service of home and dress culture. Our souvenirs give a taste of traditional folk handicraft. We also recommend our products made in the Radics Court in Heves and in the folk art houses of Mátraderecske and Zaránk to the attention of our customers.
What will you find here?
Our cotton and linen home textiles—tablecloths, dining sets, pillows, table runners, decorative curtains and drapes—of different sizes have become the symbols of the holidays. The cross-stitched and thread-stitched patterns on the hemp-based embroidered pillows deliver “messages” from the past. The Christmas tree decorations made with traditional Hungarian textile overlay technique and the children’s fairy tale pillows constitute lovely gifts. The children’s and adult shirts made of natural materials, the string vests, the women’s blazers made with overlay technique and string embellishments and the woollen capes offer everyone the opportunity to accessorise.
